Pinkish brown Nenadkevichite, a rare Niobium silicate, with a couple of other unidentified species. One is the white powdery material and the other, with tan coloured hair-like needles. One for the MSH expert.

Confusing specimen! Labels state pharmacosiderite and scorodite, but in the main I can see botryoidal Olivenite and Chalcocite with possible Connellite or Chalcophyllite. One for the microscope!

I have to confess that I didn't even know that Europe had precious Opal! But here is a small piece with lots of colour. Apparently the Romans sourced their opal from here!
